Ah...they're back!

Today was pretty awesome.

Look where I was this afternoon...

These are our usual seats...

See them?
It's where those people are standing.
Yup. Behind the gates.
At least it's free right :)

But not today.
This was our view today.

And unfortunately this was our view too...

Sick, right?
It was extremely hot (not this view - I mean the weather), but really?

I was able to snap a picture of Jeff and Chris too (despite their complaining).

Too bad I focused on Chris by accident.
(I promise AnnElise that I wasn't trying to focus in on Chris because that would be super creepy)
I wanted to take another to fix it, but Jeff said he thought it looked like he and Chris were a couple so I didn't and we're left with this picture.

Check this out...
Have you ever gone to the ball park and smelled the delicious smells of grilled onions and garlic fries?
Have you ever wished that one of your bras could smell like that?

Well this lady thinks you did because it looks like she's gonna try to return her bra after the game today.

It is just sad...
Don't you feel so bad for her?

Girls Day Out

A while ago I was able to have a girls day out with Ashley and AnnElise...

We went to the Ferry Building to check out the Farmer's Market that day.

I still love the free samples there...

And trying delicious types of hummus.

I was so excited to finally try Roli Roti (they are only at the farmer's market). The line for the porchetta sandwich was amazing.

Luckily for us it was a beautiful day,
but unlucky for all of our husbands who had to study.

We went window shopping too and fortunately Ashley had the inside scoop on this thrift store in the Haight that is my new favorite store. It's called Crossroads and it has found a new special place in my heart and made me actually enjoy shopping.

Brand new awesome Gap jeans for $7.00, yes please.
Brand new awesome H&M shoes for $13, of course!

I even took Jeff a few days later and he found two super cool American Apparel t-shirts for $4!

I'm not gonna lie. It was a good day :)

I'm alone with this...

Check out his creepy eyes...
Devil eyes. Seriously.

I think he knows what is about to happen to him.

I kept hearing him scrambling around in there, so I finally put a lid on it.
I'm about to go back to work and I really hope that thing stays in there until Jeff gets home.

Crabbin'

Jeff got this sudden urge to go crabbing, so on Monday we went. Jeff got home from taking a test and we left right away.

It was such a beautiful day.

The day before Jeff looked up what food was used to catch crabs...and it was definitely from the wrong source :) He read that fried chicken worked the best. We picked a couple pieces up from KFC. We felt kind of dumb when this crabber came up and asked us what we were using for bait. We told him chicken and he spotted our KFC bag, ha ha. This, of course, lead him to then ask us if we were using cooked chicken. Yeah...we got laughed at a little. I guess if you go crabbing - use squid (which we now have in our fridge in case anyone wants some - I know so sick, right?) or sardines. You live and you learn, ha ha, and feel a little stupid in the process.

Our net, unfortunately, never caught any. We bought some snares so the next time we'll have the net and fishing poles.

This guy was nice enough to let us use his knife.
(He didn't catch any either...so we're not the only losers out there)

These people used a net and they caught two.
We had to live vicariously through all the successful crabbers.

We finally caught one!

Not really.
But I took pictures of this one that the guy next to us caught.
He asked if I was going to put it up on YouTube,
which I thought was totally weird.
Who would really want to see a crab on YouTube?
Not to mention I wasn't taking video...

We were fascinated by the other people next to use catching so much crab.

This was the guy that asked what bait we were using.
He finally felt so bad for us he gave us some of his sardines.

They kept asking if we were from the city.
I guess we really stood out among all the fishermen.

This seal was just making his living off of the fishermen's bait.

Seriously, those snares were catching so many crabs.

Don't you see the seal looking at us?
Isn't that like the craziest thing you've ever seen?
He really was looking right at us!

This man caught two at once.
Some people just have all the luck.
Or at least all the right bait...

After we had fun failing at our first crabbing attempt, we went kite surfing.
That's Jeff.

Okay...we lived vicariously through the man that was kite surfing and just took pictures.
But we had fun just trying to crab :)
We're going again on Saturday morning if anyone wants to come!

P.S. - Jeff hates when I take pictures of just him, but I'm so good at sneaking them in :)

Sneak Peak

This is what we did Monday morning/afternoon before I went back to work...

Can you guess?

What cute pictures :)

Take notice of the KFC bag. Big mistake. It wasn't for us, ha ha.

These guys were swarming the whole time.

Look how cute...
