We are definitely having a girl!
(But we already knew we were...it was basically just confirmed today)
I say confirmed because at about week 8, between feeling sick and dreading going to work, I got the funny feeling that it was going to be a girl. So to prove I was right, I asked Jeff what he thought it was going to be, and he said it was definitely a boy. From that point I was sure it was a girl and Jeff was pretty sure it was a boy. But... it is a girl. We'll let Jeff stick to fixing teeth and leave the weatherman-type jobs to me from now on.

UCSF also does 3D pictures as part of the regular ultrasound procedure!
They looked better there though because they were in color.
Oh well. Still fun.

We kept seeing cute baby hands during the scan too.
I love seeing those little bony fingers every time!
This scan we saw her thumb sticking up because she had her hand opened on her face.
Silly girl.
And my favorite was that her hand was resting on her knee at the end .

Now onto the part I was dreading...the name game.

For whatever reason I have no issues with choosing boy names, but I feel like girl names are hard to pick. I don't know what to do. I told Jeff I'm probably the only girl that doesn't have a list of girl names they've always wanted to use on a baby girl. Oh well...let the fun begin right?

YAY! Congratulations Whitney! So exciting! PS Jennifer is a great girl name. :) Just thought I'd throw that one in. But I know what you mean with girls names.
I don't see the baby. Is this like a flea circus thing or... You know if you do name it Jennifer it will be Jen's favorite child ever, ha ha. She's already chomping at the bit to buy presents for her. Congrats on your good news, we're so excited for you!
